On Sept. 13, 2014, Roy Jackson, aged 49, had died. His heart stopped beating and he was no longer breathing.

That was until the firefighter paramedics from station 31 and Rescue 63 arrived on scene and brought him back to life with their equipement, drugs, and knowledge.

“I haven’t met any of you yet. You have a passion for what you do, and thanks to that I can continue my passion of being with my wife and family. I love you and thank you,” he told the assembled paramedics.

Stories like these happen everyday and are made possible with quick response times and experienced personnel.
